applies

• applies(config: T): boolean

  Predicate that decides whether this validator should run for the given config.

  Parameters

  • config: T

    The parent config block.

  Returns boolean

  True if the validator's target sub-block is present.

validate

• validate(config: T): Procedure<{ valid: true }>

  Runs the validator. Only called when IBlockValidator.applies returns true.

  Parameters

  • config: T

    The parent config block (the validator extracts its own slice).

  Returns Procedure<{ valid: true }>

  Procedure success when the block is valid, or failure with a message.
